A softly rounded 40 mm shell, raised hush lettering and a magnet hidden inside the base. Inside, a passive NFC tag. No battery or charging cable to think about.
App and compatibility
We’re starting with iPhone. The companion app uses Screen Time permission to pause the apps you choose. Phone compatibility will be confirmed before launch.

Do I need to open the app before tapping?
In the app, open the scanner and tap your puck. From outside the app, tap your puck and then the iPhone notification to continue. Your first tap takes you through setup.
Will the app recognise my puck’s colour?
Yes—that’s part of the experience we’re building. Chalk, Pebble or Harbour: your puck’s colour carries through to the app.
Is hushpuck available to buy?
We’re getting ready for launch. hushpuck and its companion app are not on sale yet.
Why an object instead of another app?
The object adds distance. Ending the session would mean returning to something you left elsewhere, rather than reaching for an on-screen button.
Does the puck need power?
No charging, no batteries. The puck gets the tiny amount of energy it needs from your phone when you tap.
Will it work with my phone?
We’re building for iPhone first. We’ll share the supported models and iOS versions before launch. Android isn’t available yet.
Could I override the block?
hushpuck helps you make a deliberate choice. It depends on the permissions you give it, and emergency access will be explained clearly before launch.
Will there be a subscription?
Our plan is one purchase with the core app included. Final pricing will be announced at launch.
